Sourcing Manager II- Metals

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop sourcing team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Develop and execute sourcing and commodity strategies for metals categories that optimize cost, quality, delivery, supply continuity, and overall business performance.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities, building strategic partnerships that support business objectives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Drive supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks through proactive planning, market analysis, and contingency strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to inform sour decisions, evaluate supplier capabilities, and productivity opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a relatively large supply chain organization is preferred.
- Passion for leading and developing people.
- Experience directly managing complex categories.
- Strong negotiation skills including experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and adapt to a high-growth environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

Pay
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00. Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
