Sourcing Manager

Own category execution for direct electrical materials and equipment, working closely with the Director of Strategic Sourcing to build supplier relationships and drive real cost impact as the function scales.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories within direct electrical materials, equipment, and services
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, including performance tracking, scorecards, and issue resolution
• Support RFx events, negotiations, and supplier agreements under the Director's guidance
• Analyze spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance to identify cost savings and risk mitigation opportunities
• Partner with engineering and operations to align sourcing decisions with technical and project requirements
• Maintain accurate contract and supplier data to support category strategy and reporting
• Support the Director in developing and tracking sourcing metrics and KPIs
• Assist with supplier onboarding and qualification for new categories or vendors

Requirements

• 5-10 years of progressive sourcing or procurement experience
• Experience within industrial, electrical, EPC, utility, manufacturing, or construction environments strongly preferred
• Experience sourcing direct materials or equipment, hands-on category execution
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Comfortable working directly with engineering and technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree required; engineering or technical background a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within electrical contracting, power distribution, or industrial services
• Exposure to managing multi-million-dollar category spend
• Familiarity with supplier performance programs and sourcing best practices

Pay

$140,000 - $150,000 per year
