About The Role

Love the thrill of finding the perfect venue and negotiating a great deal? As a Sourcing Manager, you’ll support Life Sciences meetings in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where precision, partnership, and smart problem-solving matter. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to source hotels and venues, build budgets, and create seamless experiences from the very start. If you enjoy balancing strategy, supplier relationships, and detail-driven execution, this role is a great fit.

This role is fully virtual and operates primarily within the Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating supplier contracts with confidence, including rates, concessions, and business and legal terms
• Managing venue sourcing from end to end while keeping client needs, budgets, and timelines front and center
• Working in a structured, compliance-focused environment where quality, accuracy, and professionalism are essential
• Collaborating with meeting managers, operations partners, and client contacts to align on requirements and sourcing strategy
• Using tools like Cvent RFP to drive efficient sourcing, track activity, and maintain organized reporting and availability grids
• Participating in site inspections, industry site visits, and vendor presentations as needed

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Life Sciences clients or meetings where process, preferred vendors, and detailed requirements are especially important
• Familiarity with preferred hotel programs, global hotel brokers, and navigating venue decisions in a research-driven, deadline-focused setting
• Experience preparing polished, high-level venue PowerPoint decks for clients or stakeholders
• Strong organization and time management skills when juggling multiple sourcing requests and deliverables

Pay

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Sourcing Manager is between $60,000 - $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
