About the role

Responsible for developing and implementing innovative freeze-drying solutions for food products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute freeze-drying processes for various food products
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize product formulations and manufacturing processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Conduct regular process validation and troubleshooting
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freeze-drying or related field
• Strong understanding of food science principles and industry regulations
• Experience with process control systems and automation tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP guidelines
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC)

Skills

• Strong knowledge of freeze-drying techniques and equipment
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
