For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Sourcing And Procurement Strategy Principal to join their team and lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. This role involves collaborating across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end negotiation strategy for complex technology deals
• Shapes commercial strategy for the technology portfolio for maximum value
• Translates business needs into sourcing strategies and executive recommendations
• Determines optimal approaches for strategic sourcing engagements
• Applies market insight to maximize negotiation outcomes
• Drives demand optimization to align spend with business outcomes
• Partners cross-functionally to ensure compliant commercial solutions
• Mentors teams in advanced negotiation strategies and develops negotiation playbooks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
• 10+ years in technology commercial roles, including strategic sourcing and vendor management
• Proven track record in leading complex technology negotiations with top-tier suppliers
• Deep understanding of pricing models, licensing, and supplier economics
• Experience in high-visibility deal environments with measurable financial impact

Pay

$164,780 – $314,960 annually
