This role can sit anywhere in the US as long as it is near an Accenture Corporate Office. Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage pricing requests sent to suppliers with defined deadlines and required deliverables
  • Create and foster supplier relationships, maintaining an active database of available suppliers for all regions of the U.S and Canada
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with the Client Management and Market Intelligence teams to deliver best-in-class results to our energy clients
  • Monitor energy market fundamentals, including supply/demand balances, weather and storage impacts, and infrastructure constraints
  • Distinguish between the various energy procurement pricing methods including spot, fixed, and index related products
  • Create high-quality procurement recommendations for clients including market intelligence, strategy and risk management
  • Manage contract documents, terms & conditions, and lock confirmations
  • Ensure deals are properly recorded and documented within internal systems

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2.5 years of experience working in the Energy industry, preferably with natural gas
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)
  • Knowledge of regional power and natural gas markets (e.g., ERCOT, PJM, MISO, CAISO, ISO-NE, NYMEX)

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Comfortable in a performance-driven environment and possess a strong capacity for innovation and process improvement
  • Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to effectively take on multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously; deadline driven
  • Demonstrated abilities in problem solving and independent decision-making capabilities

SkillsMicrosoft Office products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex models and ad-hoc reports

    Pay

    • Annual Salary Range: California $70,350 to $205,800, Cleveland $59,100 to $164,600, Colorado $63,800 to $177,800, District of Columbia $68,000 to $189,300, Illinois $59,100 to $177,800, Maine $54,400 to $151,400, Maryland $63,800 to $177,800, Massachusetts $63,800 to $189,300, Minnesota $63,800 to $177,800, New York $66,300 to $205,800, New Jersey $68,000 to $205,800, Virginia $59,100 to $189,300, Washington $80,200 to $189,300
