Sourcing Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hybrid (On-site 3 days/week, Remote 2 days/week)
Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Pay Rate: $41/hour
About the role
Kelly is seeking a highly motivated Sourcing Analyst to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will collect, input, and analyze data from multiple sources to support the sourcing process. You will conduct simulations and present actionable findings to drive process improvements and cost reductions while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. The ideal candidate thrives in both independent and collaborative environments, excels in analytical thinking, and communicates effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Procure inventory, supplies, and capital goods; manage purchase orders with vendors.
- Analyze sourcing and procurement initiatives to deliver cost-effective and high-quality goods/services.
- Support the creation and presentation of Value Capture Summaries (monthly/quarterly).
- Prepare and present improvement recommendations and alternative sourcing options to senior leaders.
- Ensure consistent application of sourcing policies, procedures, and processes.
- Assist with price benchmarking, vendor management, market/industry research, and model-building.
- Conduct minor contract negotiations and support development of larger contracts.
- Manage loading/retrieving of legal and compliance documents in storage systems for regulatory/audit requirements.
- Aid in interviewing and evaluating sales representatives and vendors.
- Participate in Six Sigma projects by providing data and supporting market intelligence.
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers regarding payments and order fulfillment.
- Compile and manage Ariba IACs (Invoice Against Contracts).
- Perform low-complexity/risk sourcing work and contract development under supervision.
- Serve as Super User/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sourcing systems and tools.
- Lead or support special projects as assigned within team/category scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Intermediate level of related sourcing/procurement experience required.
- May require licensing for export controls/sanctions compliance.
Skills
- Sourcing: Experience managing RFQs, cost analysis, and supplier selection processes.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage sourcing projects to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Strong communication skills in managing and collaborating with key suppliers.

Manager's Note
Day-to-day activities involve market and supply chain analysis, supporting strategic sourcing, executing sound supplier selection, and project management. You will strengthen supplier relationships and manage projects within established timelines and goals.
