Sourcing Analyst

Job Title: Sourcing Analyst Location: Chicago IL 60601 Hybrid Duration: 3+ months ContractRole Summary Responsible for supporting strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across multiple categories (IT, BPO, healthcare, telecom, software, and indirect spend). Drive supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, spend analysis, and process improvements to achieve cost savings, supplier performance, and business value.Key Responsibilities *Execute sourcing, supplier negotiations, RFx, and contracting activities across categories. *Conduct spend analysis, market research, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations. *Develop financial models, total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, and sourcing recommendations. *Support supplier relationship management (SRM), vendor rationalization, and demand management. *Prepare sourcing reports, maintain procurement databases, and monitor supplier performance. *Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and support sourcing implementation. *Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, HIPAA, and corporate standards. *Recommend process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications *Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. *2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, financial analysis, negotiation, or contracting. *Strong analytical, research, and financial modeling skills. *Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). *Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills. *Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
