About The Role

We are seeking a Source to Contract Associate to join our team and contribute to a client sourcing service delivery team, managing the development and execution of sourcing projects of various complexity levels. The Sourcing Associate is responsible for executing simple to complex sourcing projects from start to finish, including validating sourcing requests, analyzing requirements, communicating with client requesters, preparing and publishing bid packages, following up with suppliers, analyzing proposals, coordinating supplier evaluations, and facilitating decision-making. The ideal candidate will have Source to Contract experience, including negotiation of software contracts, project management, and strong communication skills. This role requires self-motivation, independence, resourcefulness, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing/Contract Execution:
    • Provide sourcing services (RFx, reverse auctions, negotiations) to clients based on predefined service levels, managing 5-12 projects simultaneously with limited supervision.
    • Assess project request completeness, perform due diligence, validate requirements, and follow up with requestors for additional details.
    • Lead and execute the WNS sourcing process end-to-end, including spend data collection, supply market analysis, RFx development, publishing, reverse auctions, negotiations, and bid analysis.
    • Negotiate software contracts and manage enterprise licensing in tech, SaaS, professional services, and corporate services deals.
    • Manage suppliers during the sourcing process, including orientation, training, and milestone follow-ups.
    • Analyze proposals, facilitate supplier evaluations, prepare summaries, and present findings to clients concisely.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and customize templates for RFx, pricing, and proposal evaluation.
    • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance Denali processes.
  • Client and Project Management:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Collaborate with Client Category Managers and WNS SMEs to determine sourcing strategies and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 2-3 years of work experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain.
    • Procurement Functional/Technical Skills:
      • Strong sourcing skills, including methodology, process, eSourcing technology, and RFX development.
      • Familiarity with best-practice sourcing approaches and techniques.
      • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data organization, and presentation).
      • Ability to synthesize data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations aligned with client objectives.
      • Proficiency in one or more eSourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Procuri, Iasta, Zycus, ERP eSourcing module).
      • Basic to intermediate negotiation skills in software environments and credit-based enterprise licensing.
      • Understanding of retail store-specific categories, pricing structures, terminology, vendors, and sourcing levers.
    • Business Fundamentals:
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Demonstrated teamwork and project management skills, including planning, time management, multitasking, and critical path definition.
    • Client Services Capabilities:
      • Strong customer service orientation, including issue resolution and relationship management.
      • Ability to learn and master client-specific processes, terminology, and systems.
      • Solid decision-making ability in sensitive client situations.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with CLAUDE (preferred).

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, professional experience, relevant expertise, education, certifications, industry knowledge, and skills. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses, incentive pay, or commissions.
