Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the artist to understand the creative vision and desired sonic direction for each track
• Mix multiple electronic pop tracks, ensuring clarity, balance, and cohesion across all elements
• Apply advanced mixing techniques, including EQ, compression, reverb, and automation, to enhance the overall sound
• Address feedback and revisions promptly to achieve the desired final mix
• Prepare final mixes for mastering, ensuring all technical specifications are met
• Maintain organized session files and documentation throughout the project

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mixing engineer, with a strong portfolio in electronic pop or related genres
• Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live) and mixing plugins
• Deep understanding of electronic pop production aesthetics and current trends
• Strong critical listening skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in Chattanooga, United States; willingness to travel if not local
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple tracks and meet project deadlines
