About the role

We are searching for a talented Sound Engineer based in Reno, NV who is passionate about creating audio experiences, designing engaging soundscapes, and bringing games to life through sound design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed audio specifications based on project requirements and creative vision.
  • Design and produce high-quality music compositions and sound effects that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including producers, game designers, developers, and artists to integrate audio seamlessly into projects and drive on-time delivery.
  • Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to internal team members and external development partners.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of audio assets and implementation to ensure optimal performance across various platforms and devices.

Requirements

  • 5 years of work experience; 2 years of related experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Audio Designer or similar role in the entertainment, gaming, or multimedia industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing original music compositions, sound design projects, and audio implementation work.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard audio software, preferably Logic Pro and Adobe Audition.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Candidates must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract in Reno, NV.

Pay

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $120,000–$140,000 annually USD, based on skills, experience, education, and geographic location.

Schedule

Full-time position through an employment contract. Hybrid work setup, connected to the local office in Reno, NV.
