Sorting Laboratory Technician I

Brief Description

Spheros Environmental is seeking a Sorting Laboratory Technician for their Moscow, ID team. The primary duties include setting up and sorting aquatic benthic invertebrate and fish samples according to project protocols.

Starting Pay

The starting pay range is $14.50-18/hour, depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• College coursework or degree in environmental science, biology, or aquatic ecology preferred
• Ability to use a microscope for prolonged periods while tolerating the microscope light
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to work quietly, quickly, and independently
• An intense attention to detail
• Able to sit and focus for long periods of time
• Basic computer and math skills
