Overview
DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Full Time Sorter Operator to join our distribution center team in Smithton. This role supports the DC on the 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00p - 11:00p.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure proper product flow through system
- Observe sorter monitor & cameras to ensure a constant flow of goods is maintained
- Fix any jams on lines to reduce down time
- Notify management of potential problems with product type
- Alert maintenance of conveyor problems or possible future problems
- Operate manual & mechanical equipment in a safe manner
- Complete documentation neatly & accurately
- Communicate between departmental leads & supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Building Flow
- Basic computer skills

- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews
