About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Forklift/Sorter to join our Dunn, NC team. If you have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work through a fast-paced 8-hour shift, this position could be a great fit. As a TPM Operator, you’ll be responsible for sorting and moving pallets safely and efficiently throughout the facility, using hand tools and operating a forklift. Collaboration, safety, and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Sort pallets as they are moved from loading docks to the sort line/area.
- Remove debris and trash from pallets and determine pallet quality.
- Operate a forklift to move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility:
- Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control lifting apparatus.
- Position forks or lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets and transport loads to designated areas.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report issues to the maintenance team.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) daily.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Perform basic forklift maintenance tasks.

Requirements
- Previous experience working in an industrial, fast-paced environment with industrial equipment.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification/license preferred.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and communicate information effectively.

Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 40 lbs throughout the work shift.
- Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
- Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
- Stand for long periods of time.
Working Conditions
- Work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures may occur.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Pay
$19/hour
Schedule
- 1st shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 2nd shift: Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM (+ $1.50 shift differential for 4 PM–2:30 AM)
- Weekend shift: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (+ $1.50 shift differential for 4 PM–2:30 AM)
- Weekend Overnight: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (+ $1.50 shift differential for 4 PM–2:30 AM)
