Sort & Process Donations for a Thrift store

Description

Volunteers are needed to help sort and process donations for a community thrift store. All proceeds from the store go directly into programs that serve children living in poverty in the Phoenix area.

Sorting/Processing

• Take items out of boxes and bags and sort them for cleanliness and usability / sell-ability, and by brand, style and season.

Other Duties

• Tagging
• Organizing
• Storing
• Cleaning
• Testing electronic items to ensure they are in working condition

Duties Hours

Volunteer opportunities are available Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Flexible hours available.

Qualifications

This position is great for individuals who like to sort and organize items, or anyone wishing to make new friends with common interests.
