About the role

Currently hiring for donation attendants & cashiers at St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati (SVDP), a nonprofit organization serving residents of Greater Cincinnati since 1970. SVDP offers holistic direct assistance and systemic change services, treating neighbors in need with dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Answer customer inquiries
• Greet customers donating items and help with unloading items into the store
• Aid customers with furniture and other large item purchases
• Load and unload store trucks

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
