About the Event
The Sonoran Writers Conference is a one-day event featuring expert panels, workshops, and presentations on craft, publishing, and marketing. It supports writers at all stages—from first-timers to seasoned professionals and is produced by Anthology, Inc., a 501(c)(3) literary nonprofit dedicated to promoting literary arts in the greater Phoenix community.
Volunteer Roles May Include
- Greeting attendees and assisting with check-in
- Helping manage panel rooms and speakers
- Providing directions and information to guests
- Supporting logistics, setup, and teardown
- Aiding student check-in and special sessions
- Helping maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment
Who We’re Looking For
Creative, detail-oriented individuals who love books and people—whether you’re a writer yourself, a student, or simply enthusiastic about literary arts. No prior conference experience required! You’ll receive training and support from the event team.
