About the role

The Sonography Intern will work under the supervision of experienced radiologists and ultrasound technologists to assist in the daily operations of ultrasound procedures. This position provides hands-on training and exposure to diagnostic imaging techniques, with a focus on learning the practical and theoretical aspects of ultrasound technology.

Responsibilities

• Auxiliary patient preparation
• Operating ultrasound equipment
• Maintaining smooth workflow in the ultrasound department

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a certified Ultrasound Training Program or in a school of ultrasound imaging
• Graduate of a school of Sonography

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of ultrasound principles and diagnostic imaging techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
