About the role

The Sonography Intern will work under the supervision of experienced radiologists and ultrasound technologists to assist in the daily operations of ultrasound procedures. This position provides hands-on training and exposure to diagnostic imaging techniques, with a focus on learning the practical and theoretical aspects of ultrasound technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure smooth workflow in the ultrasound department.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a certified Ultrasound Training Program or in a school of ultrasound imaging.
• Graduate of a school of Sonography.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of ultrasound principles and diagnostic imaging techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
