Responsibilities
- Performing various ultrasound procedures such as pelvic, anatomy scans, nuchal measurements, cervical lengths, BPP, and gynecologic ultrasounds.
- Aiding patients, interpreting histories, and ensuring safety and comfort during exams.
- Documenting patient information accurately and timely.
- Communicating effectively with patients and physicians, and supporting clinical staff.
- Responding to patient emergencies and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- ARdMS OBGYN certification within 6 months of hire, CPR certification, NT certification preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ultrasound practice, and medical terminology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
