About the role
A full-time registered sonographer position for night shifts performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate ultrasound equipment to produce quality images
- Adjust transducers and perform routine and complex imaging studies
- Recognize structures, artifacts, and pathologies
- Ensure equipment functionality, perform quality control, and troubleshoot issues
- Submit high-quality images to PACS with accurate labeling and patient data
- Maintain department cleanliness and regulatory compliance
- Adhere to safety standards and perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Completion of a Sonography program
- Two or more ARDMS/CCI registries in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, Echo, or Vascular
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform detailed imaging tasks
Skills
- Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques
- Attention to detail and recognition of anatomical structures and abnormalities
- Strong safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Licenses/Certifications
- ARDMS or CCI registries relevant to specialty areas
- Appropriate ARDMS/CCI certifications based on department focus
