Job Summary
Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, according to approved protocols, ultrasound exposure, safety, and established exam indicators.
Education
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-ARDMS) required – if registry not currently held, employee must be registered within one year as condition of continued employment.
Abdomen (ABD) or Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) registries as provided by the ARDMS required within one year of employment.
Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification
Must be registered with ARDMS within one (1) year of start date.
