Sonographer (Part-Time)

About the role

Seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, obstetric, pediatric, and vascular studies, for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging procedures independently, and documenting all procedures accurately. The position may require performing on-call, portable exams, and working at different sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
• Perform imaging examinations accurately and document procedures thoroughly.
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or trade school equivalent.
• Certification as RDMS or equivalent; CPR and RDCS preferred for advanced roles.
• No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience and relevant licenses are preferred.

Key Duties

• Perform ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
• Assist with needle-guided procedures like biopsies and drainages.
• Maintain equipment functionality and documentation compliance.
