About the role
Sonographer performing ultrasound imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes on adult and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment functionality and readiness.
- Perform ultrasound examinations with proper documentation.
- Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams at various sites.
- Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from trade school.
- Licensed as RDMS or equivalent; preferred less than 2 years of experience.
- CPR certification.
- RDCS or equivalent certification.
Skills
- Strong technical skills in ultrasound imaging.
- Equipment management.
- Ability to perform studies independently.
