Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring high-quality imaging, patient care, and efficient workflow
- Monitoring documentation accuracy and timely completion
- Overseeing quality control, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Providing staff orientation, training, and performance feedback
- Positioning patients accurately and selecting appropriate technical parameters
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Submitting high-quality images and documentation to PACS
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department environment
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completion of a Sonography program
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Active professional licenses or certifications such as RDMS, RVS, or RVT, and BLS certification
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
- Frequent use of vision, hearing, and communication skills
- Occasional bending, stooping, and carrying objects up to 50 lbs
