About the role
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support patient care. Prepare patients for ultrasound exams, operate imaging equipment, analyze image quality, and collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnosis. Specialization in OB/GYN, vascular, or abdominal sonography based on experience and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations
- Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment
- Analyze image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnosis
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program
- Active ARDMS or equivalent certification
- 2 years of experience as a Sonographer in OB/GYN
- 1 professional reference covering entire work history
- Experience in women’s health or family medicine (recommended)
