About the role
Provides diagnostic imaging services under the supervision of a physician.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology.
- Documents patient information accurately and prepares reports for physicians.
- Maintains equipment and ensures proper functioning.
- Adheres to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited sonography program.
- Current certification in sonography from an approved organization.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
