About the role
Provide diagnostic sonographic examinations under the supervision of a physician.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations on patients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of sonographic findings.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited sonography program.
- Current certification from a recognized organization.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passing score on a background check.
