Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)

About the role

You will provide general, vascular, OBGYN, small parts, and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures, rotating to the on-campus rehab facility for imaging. The role uses Siemens Sequoias, Parks FlowLab, and Trophon equipment, with EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS. First-time travelers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, vascular, OBGYN, and small-parts ultrasound studies
• Conduct ultrasound-guided invasive procedures
• Rotate to the on-campus rehab facility for imaging as needed

Requirements

• 2 years of diagnostic sonographer experience
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (S)
• BLS certification (copy required)
• SSN and date of birth required
• One professional reference covering entire work history

Schedule

• 10-hour night shifts: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-call requirements: 3–7 consecutive call shifts every 8th week
• Department provides overnight call coverage on weekends (Saturday/Sunday, 24 hours) for backup or tech call-outs
• Travelers will work 75% of holidays
