About the role
The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, conduct daily checks of the work area, perform department ancillary functions, provide education to patients and families, maintain professionalism consistent with an ultrasound technologist, and demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities for age-specific patient populations.

Requirements
- Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or proven competence through on-the-job training and specialized courses
- Knowledge base and experience to work independently
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Pay
The base rate for this position is $40.00 - $48.76 per hour. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
