About the role
Performs high quality and accurate diagnostic ultrasound images. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Maintains ultrasound equipment in optimum working condition. Applies knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment.

- Applies knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Medical Sonography or equivalent
- Willing to participate in continuing education to remain current on technical advances as they occur
- Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Registered in RDMS and RVT within 6 months of hire required
- Maintain current CPR skills
Qualifications
- Strong anatomy and physiology background
- Ability to assess results, problem solve, and use independent judgment
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
- Proven ability to operate the following safely and efficiently: Ultrasound equipment, Fax, Telephone, PC, Printer, and Photocopier

Schedule
Casual - a minimum of 1 shift a pay period. 1 weekend every 12-14 weeks and 1 possible holiday a year.
