Sonographer

About the role

Perform advanced ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours or on-the-job training under a registered preceptor.
• Certification through ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT, with registry eligibility within 6 months.
• BLS certification required.
• No prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in producing diagnostic images and recognizing abnormalities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of protocols, machine operation, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical movements.
