About the role

Essentia Health is seeking a diagnostic ultrasound technologist to join our dedicated care team in Fargo, ND. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic ultrasound scans for physician diagnosis using appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans for physician diagnosis
• Utilize diagnostic ultrasound equipment
• Apply appropriate technical knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Graduation from a CAHEA accredited program in sonography
• Registry eligible by the ARDMS
• Certified in one of the following areas within 12 months - Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency
• Must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire if working in North Dakota
• Must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months if working in MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP

Qualifications

• Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire

Pay

$37.10 - $55.65 / hour FTE: 1 Weekends: Yes - Rotation
