About the role
Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans for physician diagnosis.
- Utilize appropriate technical knowledge and skills during procedures.
Requirements
- Graduation from a CAHEA accredited program in sonography.
- Registry eligible by the ARDMS.
- Certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date.
- Must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months if working in MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP.
Qualifications
- Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
- Certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date.
- If working in Department 2010-2042320 MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
Skills
- Diagnostic ultrasound equipment proficiency.
- Technical knowledge and skills in sonography.
