Song-Writing instructor needed in Elyria, OH
About the role
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Song-Writing. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Elyria, OH area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!
Responsibilities
- Teach song-writing to students in their homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
- Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
- Keep in good communication with the office.
- Be organized and on time for all lessons.
Requirements
- Great with kids.
- Loves teaching.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus.
- Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
- Experience with remote teaching if necessary.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching methods.
- Organizational skills.

Pay
You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
