Café Boulud is inspired by Daniel Boulud’s four culinary muses: la tradition, classic French cuisine; la saison, seasonal delicacies; le potager, the vegetable garden; and le voyage, flavors of world cuisine. Having earned three stars in the New York Times as well as a star in the Michelin Guide, Café Boulud is both a destination and a neighborhood gem for casually elegant dining seasonal wine tasting dinners, Sunday brunch and intimate, private events.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an international wine and beer list that meets the goals set by management
- Ensure proper service of wine and beer is executed
- Conduct training of wait staff and keep them up to date of all changes to the wine and beer list
- Manage the beverage storeroom, verify all alcoholic beverage delivery invoices, budgeting and perform weekly inventory
- Naturally guide guests towards food & wine pairings to accentuate their dining experience
Requirements
- 2+ Years fine dining experience in a similar restaurant
Qualifications
- Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
Skills
- Knowledgeable about wine & spirits alongside French cuisine
- Willingness to grow and learn
- Ability to naturally guide guests towards food & wine pairings
