About the role
In this role, you will support complex enterprise sales engagements by connecting process intelligence capabilities to measurable business outcomes. You will partner closely with the go-to-market team at account level to shape opportunities, lead value-based discovery, and articulate differentiated business impact in competitive sales cycles. Positioned at the intersection of business strategy, process excellence, enterprise technology, and AI-driven transformation, you will help customers understand why change matters, not just how the platform works. Acting as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders, you will help ARIS drive pipeline growth, improve win rates, and expand long-term customer value.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy, account plans, and executive engagement models.
- Lead value-focused discovery sessions to uncover business challenges, operational friction, risk exposure, and transformation objectives.
- Translate customer priorities into clear value hypotheses aligned to process performance, cost optimization, risk reduction, and operational excellence.
- Develop quantified value narratives, including ROI drivers, efficiency gains, compliance impact, and transformation outcomes.
- Build and articulate business cases and outcome models that resonate with executive stakeholders, including CIOs, COOs, CFOs, and Transformation Leaders.
- Apply business case discovery and value articulation methods, including ROI, IRR, NPV, ROCE, cost analysis, and related financial impact models.
- Position BPM, process intelligence, GenAI, automation, and agentic AI as strategic enablers of enterprise transformation, not just technical tools.
- Design and deliver value-oriented demonstrations, Proof of Value engagements, executive presentations, and strategic workshops.
- Clearly articulate business and competitive differentiation, especially against process-intelligence-centric competitors.
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, executive summaries, and value-based proposals.
- Provide structured competitive intelligence and field feedback to Sales and Product teams.
- Share best practices, assets, and methodologies across the Pre-Sales organization.
- Maintain a strong point of view on how agents, AI, agentic AI, and automation are changing the process landscape and the implications for enterprise operating models.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales, solution consulting, value engineering, or related customer-facing enterprise transformation roles.
- Proven experience supporting complex and competitive enterprise sales cycles.
- Background in BPM, process intelligence, process mining, digital transformation, automation, or enterprise platforms.
- Experience with GenAI, automation, AI-driven transformation, or agentic AI concepts in an enterprise software or consulting context.
- Experience building and presenting value propositions, business cases, and executive-level outcome models.
- Strong ability to connect process improvement to financial and operational outcomes.
- Experience with value modelling approaches such as ROI, IRR, NPV, ROCE, cost analysis, efficiency gains, or risk reduction.
- Solid understanding of business process management, process analysis, governance, and enterprise IT landscapes.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HCM, and how processes span them.
- Ability to bridge business architecture concepts with solution capabilities.
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
- Strong collaboration skills across Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ARIS or other BPM / process intelligence platforms.
- Experience building agentic AI agents or working hands-on with GenAI and automation solutions.
- Certifications or background in Process Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or business architecture.
- Experience working across multiple industries such as banking, manufacturing, pharma, or enterprise transformation programs.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $162,000. This position is also eligible for a 25% yearly commission plan in accordance with relevant plan documents and award agreements.
