About the role

We are seeking a Solutions Lead to support Norstella's approach to AI solution development and evaluation. This role involves defining operational readiness and quality criteria for new and evolving data products, validating their outputs, and ensuring they meet the standard expected by regulated life sciences clients. You will also support the design of technically complex solutions, collaborate with product and commercial teams, and develop repeatable playbooks and solution templates.

Responsibilities

  • Work with teams to define operational readiness and quality criteria for new and evolving data products, validating that outputs meet the standard regulated life sciences clients expect at each stage of the data product lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain deep, working knowledge of Norstella’s underlying data assets, pipelines, and product architecture.
  • Support the design of technically complex solutions spanning data integration, analytics workflows, and AI-powered capabilities, working alongside data science and engineering teams to validate solution architecture and ensure delivery feasibility before client commitments are made.
  • Support Norstella’s evaluation methodology end-to-end, designing and running assessments that demonstrate model accuracy, reliability, and fitness-for-purpose across data products and AI-powered solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and commercial teams to support the GTM process for new solutions, translating eval outcomes into proof points, reference materials, and use-case documentation that reflect genuine domain depth.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks and solution templates that allow the team to scale its impact and maintain consistency as the product portfolio grows.
  • Act as a point of accountability for quality through to delivery, staying engaged to ensure solutions land as evaluated and committed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree preferably in life sciences, medical sciences, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a solutions, strategy, consulting, data science, or product commercialization role, ideally within pharma, life sciences, or health data.
  • Demonstrable experience working across the full solution lifecycle from identifying a client need through to post-delivery adoption in cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical commercial landscape, including drug development and launch dynamics, market access, regulatory pathways, or related domains.
  • A strong track record of aligning stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a hybrid/virtual environment across several time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree (PhD or MBA) in a relevant field.
  • Experience developing, evaluating, deploying, and monitoring algorithms and models from proof-of-concept through production, in a reproducible and auditable manner.
  • Experience working with or alongside AI/data science and data engineering teams on production-grade systems.
  • Experience in a platform or SaaS business, particularly one with both data and analytics products.
  • Experience writing and maintaining code in Python or a similar language — particularly for eval automation, scripting evaluation pipelines, or building tooling that supports repeatable and scalable assessment workflows.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices relevant to eval infrastructure, such as version control, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or experiment tracking tools (e.g. MLflow, Weights & Biases).

Benefits

  • Medical and Prescription Drug Benefits
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Dental & Vision Benefits
  • Basic Life and AD&D Benefits
  • 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match
  • Company Paid Short & Long-Term Disability
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Paid Time Off & Company Holidays

Pay

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
