We are currently seeking a Solutions Engineer with a focus in Projects & Development to join our team. Please note that this position is in-person in our Omaha office, and we are unable to consider remote candidates. This role is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt; however, part-time or 1099 may be considered. Summary Frankel Technology Services (FTS) is looking for a versatile Solutions Engineer who thrives on variety and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. As part of our Projects & Development team, you’ll work across cloud infrastructure, software development, automation, data migrations, Power Platform, and AI solutions. This isn’t a traditional help desk or systems administrator role. One day might have you building an Azure environment in the morning, automating a business process after lunch, troubleshooting a SQL issue in the afternoon, and helping a client implement an AI solution before the day is over. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable moving between infrastructure and development, from migrating data and applications and writing code and SQL queries to building Power Platform solutions and leveraging Microsoft AI technologies. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving, learning emerging technologies, and working directly with clients to modernize and improve their operations, this role offers the opportunity to do it all. What You'll Do Build and manage Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure infrastructureDevelop custom business applications and integrationsWork with SQL databases, reporting, and analyticsCollaborate directly with clients to solve business problemsSupport strategic technology transformation projectsImplement Microsoft AI and Copilot solutionsCreate Power Platform solutions using Power Apps and Power AutomateDesign and execute data migration projects Required Qualifications Able to work in-person in our Omaha, NE office between the hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM M-FA minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, software development, cloud engineering, or related rolesStrong Microsoft ecosystem experience (including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID)SQL and database experiencePower Platform knowledgeExcellent communication and consulting skillsDesire to learn and continuously expand technical capabilitiesInterest in AI and automation technologiesDevelopment and scripting experienceAzure cloud expertise (Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual DesktopStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI experienceC#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languagesAzure certificationsExperience in MSP or consulting environmentsExperience with API development and integrationsAI implementation and governance experienceFamiliarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
