Solutions Engineer

About the role

A premier global news syndication and media network is seeking a commercial-minded Solutions Engineer to support their expanding enterprise data subscription and distribution business. The engineering organization is highly modernized, investing in structured data delivery, API architectures, and enterprise AI ingestion pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Map client infrastructures and facilitate API-driven integrations.
• Design, validate, and execute custom data workflows and client Proof of Concept (POC) environments using scripting languages like Python.
• Handle JSON schemas and large-scale cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or GCP).
• Support core data management tasks, including SQL querying, parsing semi-structured datasets, and managing low-latency streaming data feeds.
• Drive technical discovery sessions and navigate enterprise security/compliance audits.
• Draft technical responses for RFPs.
• Demonstrate practical understanding of modern generative AI ingestion pipelines, including how enterprises utilize external, verified datasets to optimize LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or a hybrid technical/commercial role within B2B SaaS or enterprise data distribution.
• Hands-on experience with API-driven integrations and cloud data warehouses.
• Strong scripting proficiency in Python or a similar language.
• Solid technical background in data management, including SQL, semi-structured datasets, and streaming data feeds.
• Proven capability in driving technical discovery and compliance audits.

Pay

Base salary $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 plus a 10% on-target bonus.
