About the role
Solutions Engineers at Miter play a critical role in helping construction contractors build with confidence. They work closely with Launch, Product, and Engineering teams to diagnose and resolve technical roadblocks, design integration strategies, and support complex prospects.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical roadblocks during customer implementations — including configuration challenges, integration issues, and complex workflow design
- Partner with Launch Managers, Product, and Engineering to scope technical requirements, evaluate feasibility, and implement lightweight solutions when possible
- Support pre-sales by participating in technical discovery, evaluating integration requirements, and delivering tailored demos for complex prospects
- Build and maintain internal documentation on integration patterns, product workflows, and recommended technical configurations to scale knowledge across the team
- Develop repeatable approaches for common technical challenges so the broader team can move faster
Requirements
- 2-3+ years in a customer-facing Solutions Engineer or technical implementation role
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations, with the ability to analyze and design data flows across multiple platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills across technical workflows and configurations, including comfort reading and interpreting API specs and technical documentation
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Cross-functional collaborator — comfortable working across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Launch
- Calm under pressure with a bias toward practical, scalable solutions and comfort navigating ambiguity
- Experience with construction industry software, accounting systems, or ERP integrations (e.g. NetSuite, Sage, Viewpoint) is a plus
