About the role
Join a dynamic and growing team focused on developing cutting-edge energy storage solutions. This role serves as a key technical bridge between sales, engineering, and customers, supporting project development from initial engagement through execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical solution development for customer opportunities, including system architecture, sizing, integration strategy, and overall solution optimization
- Partner closely with sales teams to engage customers, identify project requirements, and position tailored energy storage solutions effectively
- Support RFQ/RFP processes by providing technical expertise, feasibility analysis, system design recommendations, and cost-conscious solution strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on technical scope, timelines, and delivery expectations
- Serve as a key contributor during project transition from awarded business through execution and launch (RFQ through SOP)
- Identify technical and commercial risks early in the process and drive proactive mitigation plans to support successful project outcomes
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for both internal stakeholders and customers throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience within energy storage, renewable energy, power systems, or related industries
- Strong understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and grid integration concepts
- Experience supporting customer-facing technical sales efforts, RFQ/RFP responses, and solution-based discussions
- Proven ability to work effectively across sales, engineering, operations, and manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience supporting utility-scale and/or commercial & industrial (C&I) energy projects strongly preferred
