Role Responsibilities
- Directly manage our team of Solution Architects, providing regular coaching, career pathing, and performance evaluations.
- Act as an escalation point for technical roadblocks within the delivery lifecycle.
- Support Resource planning by ensuring the right Solution Architects are matched to the right projects based on skill and industry fit.
- Serve as the Lead Enterprise Architect for our most complex, high-stakes FinServ engagements.
- Design scalable, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions that align with client business goals.
- Provide high-level technical oversight and "Architect-in-the-Room" presence for Tier-1 projects.
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution for enterprise clients.
- Act as the internal and external champion for Coastal’s Financial Services vertical.
- Lead the FinServ Solution Community, fostering knowledge sharing and industry-specific innovation.
- Stay ahead of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) updates, regulatory changes, and fintech trends.
- Curate a library of FinServ-specific accelerators, blueprints, and best practices.
- Define and establish what excellence looks like for onboarding and career development standards of Solution Architects within the FInancial Services vertical.
- Build the Blueprint: Establish and enforce global delivery standards for Solution Architecture (e.g., design document templates, code review protocols, and UAT standards).
- Onboarding: Design and execute the onboarding program for new SAs to ensure a seamless transition into the firm’s methodology.
- Possess strong technical skills and a deep understanding of Financial Services Cloud.
- Partner with the sales team to win complex deals by helping to Scope technical requirements and estimate effort for large-scale FinServ RFPs. Ensure a smooth handoff from the pre-sales phase to the delivery team.
- Conduct technical demonstrations and lead "Visioning" workshops for prospective clients.
Experience/Skills Required
- 10+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 5 years in a leadership or Director-level role within a consulting environment.
- Deep experience in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, or Wealth Management) and a mastery of Financial Services Cloud.
- Certified Salesforce System or Application Architect (CTA preferred but not required).
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing and scaling a team of high-performing Solution Architects.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to C-suite stakeholders with clarity and wit.
- Must have full-time permanent US work authorization.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
