Solutions Designer - Fire Alarm

About the role

The Solutions Designer - Fire Alarm is responsible for designing and implementing fire alarm systems that meet the needs of various clients. This role requires a deep understanding of fire safety regulations and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fire alarm systems that comply with local and national codes and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that all fire alarm systems are installed correctly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure they remain operational and up-to-date.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire alarm design and installation.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 79, and other relevant fire safety codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay

$75,000 - $85,000 annually.
