About the role
You will be part of a dynamic team of solution engineers who deliver, integrate, and architect highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions for on-prem container platforms, public clouds, focusing on Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and automation skills. As a trusted advisor and partner to our stakeholders, you will drive solutions to production through strong technical guidance and execution excellence, maximizing developer productivity.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in delivering secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional groups including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.) and external customers and vendors to formalize roadmaps and priorities.
- Transform ideas into clear technical requirements to formalize technical designs.
- Improve efficiency of complex workflows and processes via automation, scripting, and GenAI tools.
- Drive initiatives to define, design, and implement cloud-based (private and public) solutions, including reference architectures, estimates, and deployment.
- Experience with GenAI including skill creation, MCP creation/consumption, prompt engineering, and code development.
- Participate in technical discussions and communicate regularly with senior leadership on technical issues, program status, and escalations.
- Lead by example, demonstrating accountability by contributing to departmental procedures, best practices, and standards.
- Actively participate in communities, forums, and guilds on architecture and new technologies.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
- Well-versed with well-architected applications driving operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Expertise with critical production applications running at scale, with high reliability and security constraints.
- Expertise in at least one of the following technical domains: Containers, Networking, VMs, Storage, Messaging, Databases, and Software Development.
- Experience in designing, building, and running production systems in cloud or migrating to the cloud and/or containers, practicing infrastructure as code, automated testing, and automating infrastructure tasks (including Hybrid Cloud).
- Proficient in programming/scripting with Python, Terraform, Ansible, and/or other IaC frameworks.
- Strong knowledge in Linux and hands-on experience in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, or Golang.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Process including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools such as Jenkins, and proficiency in Git and VCS such as Bitbucket, GitHub.
- Proficient with container deployments and troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments.
- Solid understanding of various AWS/GCP/Azure services such as networking, compute, database, and storage.
- Proven ability to lead with passion and execute vision with little guidance, making independent judgments and decisions within established guidelines.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and Generative AI algorithms and their architectural design.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration in a global matrix management environment.

Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is $124,300.00 to $198,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
Schedule
- Visa requires at least 3 days in office; expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
- Work hours vary upon the needs of the department.
- This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
