Job Summary

Your Career

  • Technical leadership and expertise in understanding and guiding customers' security transformation journeys.
  • Define technical solutions that secure key business imperatives and create business value for customers.
  • Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and innovation.
  • Conduct discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Lead successful technical validation efforts based on best practices to ensure technical wins in assigned opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and orchestrate supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) for a cohesive strategy.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions that include Palo Alto Networks and/or partner professional services to ensure customers realize business value sooner.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership in the cybersecurity space.
  • Continuously invest in technical and professional skills to drive increasing contributions to the success of our customers.
  • Participate in the Solutions Consultant community and attend industry events.
  • Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap.

Career Path

Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
  • Proven track record and experience in selling to and navigating the USAF enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of USAF enterprise infrastructure and architectures.
  • Outstanding teammate with a keen customer focus.
  • Located near the Boston area or willing to travel there - and other relevant customer locations - routinely.
  • Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures.
  • Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
  • Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
  • Partnership with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
  • Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.
