Solutions Consultant - Corporate Legal Market

About the Role

As a Solutions Consultant in our Corporate Legal market, you will become an expert on LexisNexis products and their value to legal professionals. This role focuses on providing education and support, building preference, and driving usage of our solutions to retain and grow revenue within an assigned territory. You will build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide high-quality consultation. This hybrid role requires presence in the Dayton, Ohio office on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative services to legal research customers through proactive outreach to maximize product use and understanding.
• Communicate credibly with customers to understand challenges and offer guidance, education, and consultation.
• Proactively reach out to customers via phone and email to uncover training and product needs.
• Deliver specialized customer presentations and trainings, highlighting value propositions and competitor differentiators to drive revenue.
• Collaborate with internal partners to develop strategic account plans and drive preference.
• Partner with Sales to provide product demonstrations for prospective and current customers to grow revenue.
• Identify and share upsell leads and opportunities with sales partners.
• Serve as an internal resource for Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Utilize all required processes, tools, and systems effectively.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree; or comparable experience in a paralegal or compliance role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with delivering presentations and trainings in a virtual environment, including on-camera presence.
• Proven sales and/or training experience.
• Legal research experience or expertise using LexisNexis tools.
• Ability to partner and collaborate across teams with different functions.
• Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory.
• Willingness to work in the Dayton, OH headquarters weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Skills

• License to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing (preferred).
• Proficiency with Business Management Systems (Salesforce, Tableau, Microsoft Suite, etc.).
• Highly organized with proven success balancing competing work demands.
• Comfort and excitement for the use and advancement of technology, including AI.
• Familiarity with the use of technology in the legal profession.
• Experience in corporate legal and/or compliance departments (preferred).

Pay

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $53,900 - $89,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role. Team members are required to be in the Dayton, Ohio office weekly on Monday and Tuesday.
