Responsibilities

  • Act as the single focal point within the Contractor’s areas of activity for portfolio rationalization;
  • Proactively look for all opportunities to consolidate applications;
  • Prevent competing technologies;
  • Identify new technologies to provide better services to the Agency;
  • Ensure that the implementation of the Sponsor’s unified systems roadmap for product lines, systems, and/or services maintains compliance with Sponsor standards and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science;
  • At least seven (7) years of experience as a solutions architect;
  • At least five (5) years of experience understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions;
  • At least three (3) years of specialized experience in Federal Government enterprise system management;
  • Experience in complete engineering project development life cycle;
  • Experience explaining complex problems in the simplest possible terms;
  • Experience designing and integrating multiple systems, services and applications;
  • Experience analyzing and rationalizing IT portfolio-based platform(s) (cloud applications, hardware, software) to support enhancements to current applications and systems; as well as streamlining and consolidating stacks;
  • Experience and knowledge of various architecture patterns such as microservices;
  • Experience with designing and implementing cloud-based solutions;
  • Experience architecting solutions for Salesforce and ServiceNow;
  • Experience in developing/supporting complex technical solutions;
  • Experience and familiarity integrating emerging technologies into an enterprise framework.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science is desired;
  • Experience designing and implementing multi-cloud solutions is desired;
  • Experience with emerging technologies to include leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability is desired.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: 10-25%
