Solutions Architect - Public Sector (SLED)

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to demonstrate the company value to customers
• Provide technical leadership for customer evaluation and adoption
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts
• Build and present reference architectures and demo applications
• Promote the company-inspired open-source projects at events
• Travel to customer sites within your region

Qualifications

• 6+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Proficient in programming and debugging with Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R
• Experience with Public Sector clients
• Built solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Data Engineering technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)

• $180,000 – $247,500 annually
