About the role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to play a strategic role in designing E80 Group solutions. This role will be responsible for the detailed analysis of the client's logistics flows and gathering business requirements, with the goal of defining the software solution specifications, modeling the integration of the SM.I.LE80-WMS (Warehouse Management System) and into the client's operational and information processes.
This role will serve as a key player and liaison between the client's logistics and IT departments and the internal E80 Group teams (Sales, Project Management, and Software Development).
Responsibilities
- Lead the design phase of the E80 Group solution, understanding the client's intralogistics processes through two main areas, both supported by structured tools for managing software requirements:
- Gathering and mapping business requirements, then translating them into functional and technical elements that will form the basis for developing the SM.I.LE80 software solution.
- Defining the integration between the SM.I.LE80 software and the client's information systems (e.g., ERP, MES).
- Supporting the solution development phase, both with the E80 Group internal development team and the client's IT team.
- Active participation in the development, testing, and installation phases of the E80 Group solution to ensure quality and compliance with the client's business requirements and solution design.
- Structured management of project change requests and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- At least 5 Years of previous experience
- Technical expertise:
- Warehouse systems knowledge: Experience with and a deep understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automated material handling systems (MHE).
- Integration: Familiarity with integration protocols (like APIs, XML, and JSON) is highly valuable.
- Operational and domain knowledge:
- Logistics and supply chain: Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts and logistics operations, including picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Soft skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required together with strong customer-facing abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
- Strong logical and analytical skills, with proven capacity to work efficiently and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Pay
$100K–$110K DOE (FLSA Exempt)
